Good evening, Carlile Families!

Here are the events and information for the week of Monday, January 23rd-Friday, January 27th:

There is no school tomorrow, Monday, January 23rd due to a Teacher Work Day.  School will resume on Tuesday, January 24th at 8:30 a.m..

Our students, kindergarten-5th grade, will be taking the Vocabulary Challenge.  We had a kickoff assembly last Friday.  Students will be filling out Vocabulary sheets for all new vocabulary words and they will be calculated every two weeks.  Students who have the most vocabulary sheets will earn prizes such as a field trip to go the Ice Arena, ice cream, etc.  There will be a big incentive for the most vocabulary sheets that will be given in May.  Students will be completing the vocabulary sheets in the classroom, but will also have an opportunity to complete them at home.  Please help us by encouraging your child to complete as many vocabulary challenge sheets as possible.  This is a great opportunity for your children! Thank you for your support!

Teachers will be scheduling a parent/teacher conference time with you very soon. Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Friday, February 3rd and there will be no school for students that day. It is important that you attend your child's parent/teacher conference. We appreciate your dedication to your child's education. Please contact your child's teacher with any questions you have regarding Parent/Teacher Conference Day.

We are still collecting Box Tops. Please send all Box Tops with your child so they can give them to their teacher. Our school earns money for the Box Tops and we are raising funds for more technology in our building. Thank you for your support!

We are looking forward to another FABULOUS week at the BEST SCHOOL IN TOWN and remember Every Child, Every Day, We are CARLILE CHAMPIONS!
