Hello, Carlile Wildcats!

Here is the information and events for the week of Monday, December 4th-Friday, December 8th:

On Monday, December 4th, fifth grade students will be going on a field trip to Beulah.  Please be sure to bring a coat, gloves, hat and wear walking shoes.  Students will also need to bring a sack lunch.

Our 2nd grade students will be holding their musical performance this Thursday, December 7th at 5:15 in the Carlile Auditorium.

Also, on Thursday, December 7th, we will be holding our Family Night Science Night beginning at 6:00 p.m.  Kindergarten-2nd grade students and their families will be completing edible science experiments in the cafeteria.  Third-fifth grade students will be holding their Science Fair in the Gymnasium.  Our choir students will be singing at the front of the building as families enter our Family Night beginning at 5:50 p.m.  We have so many fun activities planned for the evening of December 7th.  We hope you will join us!

The Media Center is selling student I.D's in the media center for $1. Feel free to come in and get one or send money with your child.

We are collecting Box Tops to earn money for our school! Please send any box tops that you have with your child and help us earn money for our school. All you need to do is cut box tops off participating products and send them to school with your child! Thank you for your support of our school!

Our school hours are Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m.-3:10 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.-1:35 p.m. on Fridays.

Parents, we ask that you do not drop off your child prior to 7:50 a.m. as there is no adult supervision prior to that time. Thank you for helping us keep all of our students safe.

I want to let you know in advance that there will be an early dismissal at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 14th. This will allow students and their families to attend a Holiday event at Bessemer Elementary School which begins at 2:00 p.m. that day. Please look for an informational flyer that will come home soon with your student. Also, we will have a district wide Assessment Day on Friday, December 15th. If your child has not completed the the required middle of year assessments by that time, they will be required to come in during a scheduled time.

We are looking forward to a great week at the BEST SCHOOL IN TOWN and remember....As CATS, We ACCEPT AND RESPECT!
