Hello, Carlile Wildcat Families!

Here are the events and information for the week of Monday, December 11th-Friday, December 15th:

Thursday, December 14th is our school wide Polar Express Day.  Your child is welcome to wear school appropriate pajamas for the occasion.  Your child should still wear regular school shoes to school, but they may bring slippers to wear in the classroom.

Also, on Thursday, December 14th, students will be dismissed at 2:00 p.m.  The purpose of this early release is so students and staff can attend the Bessemer area Christmas party at Bessemer Elementary School.  The party begins at 2:00 p.m.  Please look for an informational flyer that will come home soon with your child.

On Friday, December 15th, there will be no school for students.  The only students who will need to attend are those students who have not completed the mid year assessments.  Your child's teacher will let you know if your child will need to attend.

A letter from the media center was sent home to students who currently have overdue books on their account. Please have your child return these books to the media by December 13th.

The Media Center is selling student I.D's in the media center for $1. Feel free to come in and get one or send money with your child.

We are collecting Box Tops to earn money for our school! Please send any box tops that you have with your child and help us earn money for our school. All you need to do is cut box tops off participating products and send them to school with your child! Thank you for your support of our school!

Parents, we ask that you do not drop off your child prior to 7:50 a.m. as there is no adult supervision prior to that time. Thank you for helping us keep all of our students safe.

We will be on Winter Break beginning Monday, December 18th-Tuesday, January 2nd.  School will resume Wednesday, January 3rd.

We are looking forward to a great week at the BEST SCHOOL IN TOWN and remember....As CATS, We ACCEPT AND RESPECT!
