posted Oct 26, 2016, 9:07 AM by Erika Slaughter
Greetings, Carlile Families!

Friday, October 28th is the day we will be holding our Halloween parade and classroom parties.   Students should wear their costume to school on Friday morning and remain in costume for the entire day.  Our Halloween parade will begin at 1:00 p.m. on the Harrison playground and classroom parties will take place immediately following the parade.   Costumes need to be appropriate for a school setting, with pretend guns, swords, blood, or other pretend weapons, etc. reserved for your home parties only. No pretend weapons (such as light sabers or toy guns) fake blood or masks will be allowed.  Clown costumes will also not be allowed.  Also, please remember that homemade treats are not allowed.  Treats should be prepackaged and store bought.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Attention Jump Rope Parents!    This message is from Ms. Golob, our awesome P.E. Teacher.....Jump Rope practice on Friday, October 28th will be optional due to Halloween festivities.  Students who wish to attend practice will begin at 7:45 am.

There will be no school for students on Monday, October 31st as this is a Teacher Workday.  There is also no school for students on Tuesday, November 1st.  Tuesday, November 1st is Parent/Teacher Conference Day.  You should have received an appointment time to meet with your child's teacher. If you have not received a time, please contact our office at 549-7520.    Parents, we need you to attend your child's conference.  It is extremely important that we communicate with you regarding your child's progress.  Thank you for your investment in your child's education.

Thank you for all you do in support of our wonderful school!  Have a great evening!
