Hello, Carlile Families!

Here is our Game Plan for the week of Monday, May 4th-Friday, May 8th:

Third and sixth grade students will be testing this week. Thank you for ensuring that your child is here on time and remains in school until the time of dismissal. We are asking all parents to make appointments after school, if at all possible. Please support your child by getting them to school on time and also making sure that students get plenty of rest each night. Thank you for supporting your child's education.

Attention...you won't want to miss this special event!   We are entering Week 2 of our Attendance Drive!  Week 2 begins tomorrow, Monday, May 4th and will end on Friday, May 8th. Each day, every student who arrives on time and stays all day, will write their name on a piece of paper to be entered in a drawing. At the end of this week, on Friday, 20 names will be drawn to win a casual pass and 2 other prizes!  Please help your students to be on time each day, and keep them in school all day, so that they have a chance to win this contest!!  We just received new prizes so you won't want to miss out!  Thank you for your support!!

Due to high demand, we will be extending our yearbook sales.  You may purchase a Carlile yearbook for only $10.00 through Friday, May 15th.  Yes, we have extended the deadline....you won't want to miss out!  This year's yearbook is AWESOME!

Fourth grade students will be going on a field trip this Tuesday, May 5th.  Please see Ms. Trout or Ms. Lobato with any questions.

Our Kindergarten and 1st grade music performance will be this Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. in the Carlile Gymnasium.  Please see Mrs. Curro with any questions.

We will  have our last PTO Meeting of this school year this Thursday, May 7th beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Carlile Media Center.  We will also be asking for parent input for our Title 1 Parent Compact.  We hope to see you there!

There will be NO SCHOOL on Friday, May 8th for Kindergarten students only!  Students in 1st-6th grade will attend school as usual.

Don't forget...we are still collecting Box Tops!  All you need to do is cut box tops off participating products and send the box tops with your student. Teachers will then be collecting Box Tops. Our school makes money off of the Box Tops and all money will go toward raising more funds for technology in our building. Thank you for your support!

We are looking forward to a TERRIFIC week at the BEST school in town and remember...WE ARE ALL ON THE SAME TEAM!
