Hello, Carlile Wildcats!

This is our Game Plan for the week of Monday, February 9th-Friday, February 13th:

On Tuesday, February 10th, Skate City will host a Carlile Skate Night.  Skate Night will begin at 6:00 p.m. and end at 8:00 p.m.  Carlile will get a portion of the profit if we have at least 50 students.  Carlile also has a contest called the Golden Skate Contest.  The class with the best attendance at Skate Night will receive the Golden Skate until the next Skate Night.  Thank you for your support!

On Friday, February 13th, the Music and PE Departments will be hosting their annual Cupid Shuffle Valentine's Day Dance.  Students who collect $5.00 or more will be admitted to the dance and may wear Valentine attire as long as it is within district dress code.  Snacks will also be available for purchase at the dance.  The schedule for your child's dance will be as follows:
Kindergarten and 1st grade will be 8:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m.
2nd, 3rd and 4th grade will be from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m.
5th and 6th grade will be from 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
Thank you again for your continued support of our annual Cupid Shuffle Valentine Dance!

We are collecting Box Tops. All you need to do is cut box tops off participating products and send the box tops with your student. Teachers will then be collecting Box Tops. Our school makes money off of the Box Tops and all money will go toward raising more funds for technology in our building. Thank you for your support!

Parents if you do not already have parent portal access please stop by the office and sign up. This is a wonderful tool...you can look at your students grades, attendance and also assignments. You will also need this if you are planning on doing a choice application. Choice applications will close on Feb. 23rd.

Parents, we need your help! Please do not drop off your student BEFORE 7:50 a.m. We do not have teacher supervision prior to 7:50 a.m. Thank you for helping us keep all of our children safe.

Attendance is very important to us here at Carlile. It is important that our students are here at school on time and then stay in school until the time of dismissal. We have an Attendance Contest every quarter as well as a weekly Attendance Contest. Please make every effort to be sure your student is here on time. We request that you make appointments before or after school if at all possible. Thank you for your support of your child's education.

We are looking forward to another WONDERFUL week at Carlile and remember....WE ARE ALL ON THE SAME TEAM!
