Week of Monday, May 22nd-Friday, May 26th:

Good evening, Carlile Families! 

Here are the events and information for the week of Monday, May 22nd-Friday, May 26th:

Kindergarten and 1st grade students will be going on a field trip to the Pueblo Zoo and then riding City Park rides. Students will be leaving right after arriving at school on Monday at 8:30 a.m.   Please contact your child's teacher for more information. 

PTO will be selling popcorn this week.  Popcorn will be sold for 50 cents per bag.  Orders will be taken in classrooms and delivered on Friday, May 26th.  Thank you for your support of our PTO. 

Skate City Night is Monday, May 22nd beginning at 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.   Students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  

Our fifth grade vocal music concert is this Thursday, May 25th beginning at 6:00 p.m.  Please contact Mrs. Curro with any questions or concerns. 

Our Kindness Campaign continues this week! Help us spread acts of kindness and watch our kindness tree bloom! We will be wearing our #kindnesswins shirts every Friday until the end of the year to promote kindness. 

Carlile Yearbooks are now on sale. Time is running out! Your child can receive a full-color Yearbook for only $10! Please return envelope with CASH ONLY!!! Make sure to put your student's name, teacher's name, and grade level on the space provided. We have a limited number of yearbooks so they will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Yearbooks will be given to students on the last day of school!

We are still collecting BOX TOPS! Please submit all Box Tops to your child's teacher. We appreciate your support of our school!

Parents, this serves as another important reminder that safety is our number one priority at Carlile. Please do not drop off your student prior to 8:20 a.m. as there is no supervision on our playground before that time.

We have many events happening next week such as our fourth grade poetry night, awards assemblies for students in 1st-5th grade as well as our Talent Show.  Please check our calendar on our website for specific times.

Hello, Carlile Wildcat Families!

Here are the events and information for the week of Monday, May 15th-Friday, May 19th:

 Monday, May 15th, fifth grade students will be traveling to Beulah.  Please contact 5th grade teachers with questions or concerns. 

Thursday, May 18th, third grade students will be traveling to the Denver Museum.  Please contact 3rd grade teachers with questions or concerns. 

I would also like to remind you about an early release we are scheduling for this Friday, May 19th for all students. Please mark your calendars and note that all elementary students will be released at Noon on that day. Transportation services are aware of this and have modified their schedules to accommodate all bus routes for the day.  Again, students will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m. this Friday, May 19th only.  Please make arrangements to have your child picked up by 12:00 p.m. this Friday.

Hello, Carlile Wildcat Families!

Here are the events and information for the week of Monday, May 8th-Friday, May 12th:

Monday is our last Title 1 Family Night of this school year!  You don't want to miss this fun event!  There will be lots of fun and prizes!  The fun begins at 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. 

Tuesday, May 9th, our fifth grade students will be attending the Water Festival.  Please contact our 5th grade team with any questions or concerns.  

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week at Carlile!  Please join me in thanking our wonderful teachers for all they do!  You can do this by saying a kind word, giving a nice card, or even a treat or small gift.

COMING NEXT WEEK:

Next Monday, May 8th we will be having our last FAMILY NIGHT of this school year!  It will begin at 6:00 p.m-7:30
Also, next week is Teacher Appreciation Week!  How can we thank our teachers for all of the wonderful things they do for us?  
Also, our 5th grade students will be attending the Water Festival next Tuesday, May 9th.

Hello, Carlile Families!

Here are the events and information for the week of Monday, April 24-Friday, April 28. 

We will be having a PTO Meeting on Monday, April 24th beginning at 4:00 pm.  in the Carlile Media Center.  

On Thursday, April 27th, 1st grade will be having their Vocal Music Performance at 6:00 pm. in the Carlile Auditorium.  Please see Mrs. Curro with any questions or concerns. 

We are still collecting BOX TOPS! Please submit all Box Tops to your child's teacher. We appreciate your support of our school!

Parents, this serves as another important reminder that safety is our number one priority at Carlile. Please do not drop off your student prior to 8:20 a.m. as there is no supervision on our playground before that time. We are asking all parents and guardians to please use caution when driving.  We ask that you please utilize our crosswalks when crossing the street. We also request that you do not drop off your child in the street and have them walk across. Please talk to your child about the importance of safety around the building during drop off and pick up times. Thank you for helping us keep all of our students safe.

This is Mrs. Slaughter with an important message.  

Carlile Yearbooks are now on sale.  Your child can receive a Full-Color Yearbook for only $10!  There are a limited number of yearbooks available so be sure to purchase yours as soon as possible.  Envelopes were sent home today. Please return envelope with CASH ONLY!!! Checks will not be accepted.  Make sure to put your student's name, teacher's name, and grade level on the space provided.  Yearbooks will be given to students on the last day of school!

Students will have a chance to earn fabulous prizes each day if the student is on time and stays in school until 3:40 Monday-Thursday and at 2:05 on Fridays. The student's name will be entered into a drawing to win a prize! At the end of the Attendance Drive, we will be having a grand prize drawing where we are giving away four bikes to students who are here every day, all day. Remember, every one has a chance to win, so do your best to be at school on time, everyday. Our Attendance Drive ends this Friday, April 21st. Just a reminder that school begins at 8:30 a.m. everyday!  School is dismissed at 3:40 Monday-Thursday and at 2:05 on Fridays.

Our fifth grade students will continue state testing this week beginning at 9:00 a.m. Parents, please ensure that your student gets plenty of rest and is prepared to do their very best. During our assessment window, we ask for your cooperation in getting your child to school on time, and please refrain from taking your child out of school during your child’s assigned testing time. Thank you very much for your cooperation during this very busy and highly important time for your child.

Tuesday, April 18th is Skate City Night for Carlile Students beginning at 6:00 pm.-8:00 p.m.  Students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.  

Students in 1st and 4th grade will be going to the Rawlings Library on Wednesday, April 19th.  Please contact Mrs. Bell, Ms. Valentine, Ms. Serna or Ms. Conner with any questions or concerns. 

On Friday, April 21st, we will be celebrating College Friday!  This is a FREE spirit day!   Students are welcome to wear a college t-shirt on Friday.
